I haven't looked back after buying the books. One person found this helpful. If there are books you are looking for as an easy intro into the world of trading forex, then Jim Brownâs books are what you should pick up. Jim writes in an easy to understand and engaging style, and the books are just long enough to digest for the person new to trading.
To boot, Jim gives you access to a wealth of tools and advice after buying the books all at no additional cost. Finally, Jim puts himself out there regularly to discuss methods and approaches to trading and is very open and honest about the benefits and pitfalls of trading and of the systems he suggests in his books.
I thoroughly recommend buying this book and others by Jim. It's a good simple book that briefly touches on different things that need to be considered before beginning to FOREX trade. It does a great job at giving you a rough direction on how to proceed but doesn't quite expand much on many concepts it briefly touches on I suppose that's what your own research and his other books are meant to do, haven't read them yet.
It's definitely a worthwhile read for absolute beginners but I think it should be priced a little lower for what it has to offer but that may just be me? I'm looking to get into trading within Forex and I've bought a few recommended books for beginners.
This book kept popping up but I'd already bought the forex Dummies book and thought "I'm sure For Dummies will provide a better introduction to Forex so I'll stick with that". I'm still going to read it but I wouldnt say it's designed for beginners.
However this book is, and managed to clearly explain information other books ramble on about in an overcomplicated manner. So I'd suggest beginners read this book first. I'm going to buy the rest of his series now. It was really a great help explaining things in simple terms.
I only gave 4 stars because I was expecting more information about how to enter a trade, set stop loss etc maybe with examples like the calculation of position size.
